After school today we sat down and worked on homework. Ford had to correct some errors he had made on his in class assignment. And then he has to work on spelling. I think when I was in second grade we were given a list of words to learn. Second graders today, at least in his class, must learn to spell all the words in 6 5-7 word sentences and use correct punctuation. WOW. I'm quite impressed. After this we read. And Ella is reading so well!! I love it. She is working from BOB books. I really enjoy being a part of their learning. I think she will be picking up chapter books by next summer!p.s.
